The British Boat Club was started in 2017 with the aim to provide a real alternative to boat ownership. After owning several different types of boats, we found that the true cost of ownership was unaffordable and most of our free time was spent dealing with maintenance and problems, not enjoying the water. That is when the club was born.
Originally named Gone Fishing Boat Club, we specialised in Quicksilver Pilothouse fishing boats from Hamble, Poole and Hayling Island. Following the popularity of our club with non-fishing members, we decided to expand into the leisure market and re-branded to the British Boat Club.
The company is a family run business operated out of our office in Hamble Point Marina into 6 marinas across the south coast of the UK.
